At Elder Best Life, we strive to be the best, most compassionate, non-medical Senior Care Specialists in the Detroit Area. We understand that moving out of a home can be stressful at any age. It can be an especially tough undertaking after living in the same house for 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years. You or your loved ones might even prefer to have the dignity of staying in the home they love. That is where we come in.
The process of starting over in a new location can be overwhelming and emotional. Our goal is to make the process of making a move or staying in place as stress-free as possible for our new friends. We design a custom "moving or staying plan" that includes our team of experts guiding you in a variety of services. We prepare a practical plan to make life more enjoyable for our clients. Our staff is always helpful and respectful.

Daniel McCarty: Founder | Director of Client Care
Hi. My name is Dan McCarty. I am a young member of the Baby Boomer Generation. For some reason, I have had a unique ability to connect with senior citizens during my entire adult life. I am a nurturer who enjoys learning from their wisdom and hearing their life stories. This aptitude was especially helpful when the time came to help care for my maturing mother-in-law.
Her four children decided to allow her to have the dignity of aging in place (in her home) until she was 95 years old. She needed help with her daily activities and care. The estate hired some amazing ladies to assist the family in helping their matriarch live her "best life."
Not long after that, I found myself working with my three siblings in helping our aging parents live their best lives as they endured their struggles and illnesses. We did it without outside help. We are all still caring for my father.
I realized how lucky both families were to have family members nearby to help care for our loved ones. Unfortunately, not everyone has the luxury of living near their loved ones. As a result, there is a need for companions to help maturing adults thrive in their homes with daily, non-medical, individualized tasks when their loved ones and regular caretakers aren't able to help as often as they would like to. This first-hand experience is why we decided to name our company Elder Best Life!
